Hawaii...according to Aden...

( click on the pictures for large size!)

One of the cool things we did this year...in fact, one of the coolest...was go to hawaii to see my cousin Kassia graduate from high school!

That is a picture of Pololu valley which is down the street from Popaw's house.

I flew over with mom and LaoLao. It was so much fun!  I got to play with Amara, Kassia's little sister who is also my cousin AND my age! Well, she's 5, but who's counting?

The graduation was very beautiful. There were lots of flowers everywhere. Kassia's mom, my Aunt Sheryl, teaches at the school so she got to give Kassia her diploma. That was neat.

After the diploma's were handed out, the graduates performed the hula for us.

Then, everyone hung flower leis around Kassia's neck and we got to go home and jump on the trampoline!

Aunt Sheryl and Uncle Tom's house is fun...they have a big backyard and a dog.

We stayed at Popaw's house in Hawi. That was awesome too, because Popaw has a great big yard to run around in. I could see Maui from his front porch. I also got to touch the King Kamehameha statue.  The original one in Kapa'au!

My Aunt Sandy and Uncle Rick were there too.

We went to Waikoloa and saw the dolphins...and there was a bird that really talked. he said...Hello to me! That's where I saw the big BooBoo...er, Buddha.

Hawaii is so much fun. You should go sometime!

Wasn't that a great time we had in Hawaii. How did people get SO many leis on Kassia's neck - she must have a ballerina long swanlike neck. You and Amara had a great time, didn't you and I wanted to try the trampoline with you, but some folks there would have had a fit, but I had fun watching you. I love you.
